Travelodge Hotel - Chippenham Leigh Delamere M4 Eastbound

Look, it's a Travelodge, so you know the score—the decor at the Westbound is a bit dated, but who cares? The important stuff was spot on: the room, bathroom, and bedding were all really clean. The receptionist (French speaking guy) was also genuinely lovely and really pleasant, which was a massive plus after a long drive. I'll be honest, the grab-and-go breakfast boxes weren't great and felt a bit pricey for what you get, but that was a tiny blip in an otherwise great stay. For a cheap, convenient crash pad, it absolutely hit the mark and we would definitely stay again.

We just stayed here for a night to break up a long drive and it was exactly what we needed. You really can't beat the price, and being right off the motorway meant we were checked in and relaxing just minutes after we got off the road. A massive shout-out has to go to the staff – the woman at the reception was so lovely and cheerful, which was a welcome sight after hours in the car! Our room was spotless, the bed was comfy, and everything felt fresh and clean. You can't ask for more than that. It’s just a solid, reliable, and great-value place to crash. We’ll definitely make this our go-to stop on future trips down the M4.

Stayed at this hotel many times. It is very convenient for the motorway and working in the local area. Sam on reception is always so welcoming and friendly ,makes you feel special and lifts your mood no matter what sort of day you’ve had. Truly brilliant at her job. Rooms are clean and comfortable with everything you need and food is available only a short distance away in the main services.

Perfect for what we needed - a clean, comfortable, and affordable stop on the M4. The room was standard Travelodge, which is always reliable. The highlight of our brief stay was the fantastic service from Bouna at the front desk. He was so friendly and efficient, making our late check-in quick and easy. It’s staff like him that make all the difference and ensure we’ll be back. Keep up the great work!

Well what can I say about this place, Other than Sam is always super helpful, she goes out of her way to help you, she listens when you need to get things off of your chest, and also she's always a excellent hard worker, I'm not great with words but this is my view of Sam, she's lovely.

I stay in a lot of Travelodges which are generally cheap, but clean and cheerful. This is the exception. Although newly refurbished there was a green towel on the back of the bathroom door, a muddy footprint on the wall behind the door and crumbs (or something else) on the floor behind the main door to the room. The towel had clearly been left by a previous occupant, but surely it should have been spotted. There's no excuse for not cleaning bathroom walls, nor failing to vacuum clean the carpet.
